Letter to god

A little boy wanted Rs.50 very badly and prayed for weeks, but nothing happened.

Finally he decided to write God a letter requesting the Rs.50.

When the postal authorities received the letter addressed to God, INDIA, they decided to forward
it to the President of the India as a joke.

The President was so amused, that he instructed his secretary to send the little boy Rs.20.

The President thought this would appear to be a lot of money (Rs.50) to a little boy,

and he did not want to spoil the kid.

The little boy was delighted with Rs.20, and decided to write a thank you note to God,
which read:

"Dear God: Thank you very much for sending the money.
However, I noticed that you sent it through the

Rashtrapati Bhavan in New Delhi
, and those donkeys deducted Rs.30 as tax ... "

KEEP SMILING.....!!!!!

Carry a smile, all the while

World is sad enough, harder and tough
Your smile can bring a little change
It may bring the joys to atleast some

If no one reacts, nor atleast hears
If no one seems to notice and care
Still, with you caring little heart
Your smiles, give them all again

A smile can travel around Earth
And get for you those special returns
When all the world is smiling, and then
Lift your chin high and keep smiling..!!!!

Smile

You know, what I’d like to see,
A smile on your face, staring back at me,
Your laugh, like bells, ringing in my ear,
Making me smile, through even a tear

Your smile makes me, in memories ensnared,
Back to those days, when we played without a care,
When neither rain nor shine, kept us apart,
Those good old days, when our friendship did start

Your smile takes me, back to those days,
When we fought for reasons silly, dreams we did chase,
When we studied, played, had so much fun,
Those good old days, when our friendship had begun

Your smile, even now, means the world to me,
It does make the world seem so free,
Through the clouds, the sun would shine,
The world maybe miserable, but I’d feel fine

Smile for me, my dear friend,
Lost in your smile, let me a moment spend,
Your smile, would make me smile too,
Another smile, that brings joy to you.

My Seminar :)

God has bestowed me, with a voice so nice,
That the teacher gives me, enough seminars to suffice,
Vinay do this, and Vinay do that,
Give a seminar at the drop of a hat.

Today, I had to give seminars two,
One in C++, the other in CIP too,
I hit the midnight oil yesterday, preparing for it,
So serious was I, I fell asleep with the light still lit.

With God’s grace, I was late for class,
I entered to see a new teacher, alas!
Hoping she didn’t know of my task, I sat down,
But she did know, as she told with a frown

She told me, Vinay start your seminar fast,
I took up my notes, and stood up at long last,
The class was asleep, I could tell with ease,
They told do awesome, wake us please.

My friends, applauded, as I started to speak,
The teacher looked shocked, my knees a bit weak,
10 minutes in, she still looked pale,
I stopped to ask for doubts, lest she made me fail.

The class, looked at me, and burst out loud,
Gales of laughter, were on me bestowed,
Now I was shocked, as I waited for them to stop,
Anxious to know, why my seminar was a flop

When I came to know, I joined the fun with a smile,
The teacher joined too, and we laughed for a while,
I’d jumbled them up, given the wrong one,
It was a bit embarrassing for me, yet all had a lot of fun.

Note: CIP is Constitution of India. :) Nothing whatsoever to do with programming.
